Call for Volunteers

We are issuing an urgent and heartfelt Plea for Volunteers to join the mission of the United for Relief Reggae Festival on December 13th and 14th, 2025, at the Sarasota Fairgrounds!

This is more than just a festival—it is a critical, large-scale humanitarian effort dedicated to raising funds for the people of Jamaica. The success of this vital mission rests entirely on the generous spirit and commitment of our community. Every hour you donate translates directly into life-changing support.

A Personal Plea

This is our chance to unite through music and action. We are asking you to step up, donate your time, and use your skills for a cause far greater than ourselves. You will be a hands-on part of a movement that provides direct relief. Join us, lend your strength, and help us make this humanitarian mission a profound success!

We need dedicated individuals to fill the following crucial roles:

Security/Crowd Control

Monitoring entry/exit, assisting with crowd flow, checking bags, reporting issues. (Must be 18+)

Cooks/Chefs/Kitchen Crew

Assisting with food preparation, serving, and kitchen clean-up for artists/staff meals. (Experience preferred)

Hospitality/Runner

Running errands, transporting supplies, assisting with general needs of the event staff and artists.

Ticket Sales/Gate Entry

Selling day-of tickets, scanning/checking pre-sold tickets and wristbands, managing lines. (Cash handling experience a plus)

VIP Receptionist/Host

Greeting VIP guests, checking them in, directing them to their area, and ensuring their comfort. (Strong communication skills needed)

Information & Guidance

Answering general attendee questions about the schedule, stage locations, restrooms, and fairgrounds layout.

Merchandise Sales

Selling event t-shirts, posters, and artist merchandise. (Cash handling/Square experience a plus)

Set-Up/Tear-Down Crew

Physically demanding role: setting up and breaking down tents, tables, chairs, signage, and cleaning up the grounds.

Float/General Support

Stepping in wherever needed throughout the event to cover breaks or unexpected gaps.

Advocacy/Fundraising

Roaming the event to promote the cause, encourage donations, and sell raffle tickets.
